Terms & Conditions

Isbourne Arts Terms & Conditions

Late Arrivals

Every effort will be made to admit latecomers as soon as a suitable break occurs, but admission is not guaranteed.

Code of Conduct

Isbourne Arts reserves the right to ask anyone causing a disturbance to other customers, staff or the performance, to leave the venue, without refund, on any reasonable grounds including, without limitation, where the ticket holder breaches these terms and conditions, disrupts other audience members’ enjoyment or does anything that the management considers to be unacceptable behaviour which may cause nuisance, damage or injury.

Customers with learning disabilities will not be asked to leave a performance due to any behaviour that is a result of their disability, as per the Equality Act 2010. Please feel free to speak to a member of staff if you require any assistance.

Children, school parties, youth groups and those in need of special care are the responsibility of their parents, guardians, teachers and carers, who must ensure appropriate behaviour in the venue.

For spoken word performances, films and other productions where specified, mobile phones must be switched off before entering the auditorium. The use of mobile phones, cameras and any form of recording equipment is prohibited anywhere in the auditorium, unless permission is obtained.

We have zero tolerance for abuse or discrimination of any kind, whether towards other customers, staff or performers. Anybody who displays this behaviour will be removed from the venue immediately.

Customers must consume food and drink with consideration for others and must not cause disruption to the performance. Unless specified otherwise (for example, for private parties), any food and drink consumed at Isbourne Arts must be bought from the venue. Please do not bring your own food or drink unless for medical reasons or for very young children.

The management reserves the right to refuse entry or re-entry to the auditorium to customers who are intoxicated by drink or drugs. We reserve the right to remove customers from the venue, when intoxicated.

Privacy Policy

At Isbourne Arts we take your privacy seriously. We promise to respect any personal data you share with us and keep it safe. We aim to be clear when we collect your data and not do anything you wouldn’t reasonably expect.

Developing a better understanding of our customers and supporters through their personal data allows us to make better decisions about shows and programming, fundraise more efficiently and, ultimately, helps us to reach our goal of making work of the highest quality available to all.

Our data protection policy is available on request. Please read this information carefully, as by providing your data to us you acknowledge you have read this policy and understand we will process your data in accordance with its terms. We promise to use the information we collect about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (2018) (GDPR), the Data Protection Act (2018) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR, 2003). We aim to be clear when we handle your data, and not do anything you wouldn’t reasonably expect.

Online Bookings

Customers are responsible for ensuring their details are correctly entered on the online booking forms. All details supplied by you should be true and accurate. If there are any changes to your details once your booking is completed then it is your responsibility to inform Isbourne Arts.

Where a person makes a booking on behalf of another party, that person accepts these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for that party.

Isbourne Arts reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any tickets ordered.

It is your responsibility to check that the Tickets issued to you are accurate.

Refunds and Exchanges

We do not refund tickets – please check carefully when booking. If we have sold out, we may offer to resell your tickets. However, we offer no guarantee of sale. We will exchange tickets for another performance of the same production, if available. 48 hours’ notice is required and we charge an administration fee of £2.00 per ticket for both resales and exchanges.

Our tickets may invite you to make a donation to support our programme for young people. This will be made clear when buying the ticket and is entirely voluntary.

Changes

Our online and printed publicity material is correct at the time of publication. Isbourne Arts reserves the right to make alterations to the line-up or cast of productions due to circumstances beyond our control. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.

Babies and Children

Isbourne Arts strongly advises parents not to bring children under the age of four to performances except for specific productions aimed at younger audiences. Baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor.

Children under 16 attending music gigs, plays and other productions must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Children under 14 attending craft workshops and events aimed at, or open to, young people must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Dogs

Dogs, other than trained assistance dogs, are not permitted in the venue.
