JS Bach: The Storyteller: one instrument, a world of stories: March 20 at 7.30pm

A single instrument with a story to tell, one to which we can all relate, recognising our own feelings and emotions; a welcome respite from a troubled world.

Join us for a wonderful collection of music and stories, played and told by Carol Hubel-Allen on a Viola built during J.S. Bach’s lifetime.

The beauty of the music and instrument will be brought alive by Carol through the evening as she weaves melody and storytelling.

With illustrations from the Unaccompanied Suites for Cello, in this case a Viola built during J.S. Bach’s life time, we get a glimpse into his inspired use of the various keys and their relationships, making words superfluous.

As a contrast, Carol will talk a little about the viola, the instrument’s peculiarities and its advantages!

A fundraiser, in support of Isbourne Arts. Donations on the door (£10 suggested).

Carol Hubel-Allen brings JS Bach: The Storyteller to Isbourne Arts on March 20 at 7.30pm. Doors and bar at 6.45pm.
