Meet the wonderful team that made this dream a reality.

Gill Cocks

Chair of Trustees

Gill Cocks is a retired Civil Servant with 20 years’ experience of organisational culture transformation and project management.

Lucy McCall

Trustee

Lucy is an arts and heritage specialist, with over 20 years experience of developing major capital projects 
to renew and repurpose arts and heritage buildings that go on to operate sustainably and deliver long term cultural, community and regeneration benefits.

Helen Mcilveen

Trustee

Helen is a fundraising specialist with ten years' experience working with non-profits across Europe. She moved to Winchcombe in 2022 with her young family and is delighted to be supporting Isbourne Arts to become a hub for the community.

Janet Dufton

Trustees Minutes Secretary

Janet has lived in Winchcombe for 38 years. Her varied career included legal services, primary school teaching, retail and hospitality. Her extensive experience as a volunteer includes coordinating volunteers, organising events and providing administrative back up and secretarial skills. 

John Beard

Company Secretary 
John is a retired Civil Servant who lives in Cheltenham. His interests include music and history, and he is Secretary of the Holst Birthplace Trust and Cheltenham Local History Society.

Derek Smith

Operations Group Co-Lead

Working with Carrie to make the Izzy run safely and successfully, a keen guitar player, a member of The Mashers and the Pantomime Band here in Winchcombe.

When I first set eyes on the interior of the Methodist Church I felt it had so much potential as a live performance space. I have been along for the ride from the very beginning and am thrilled that at last the vision is becoming a reality.

After many years promoting live music events with my husband Dave, I am delighted to be an integral part of this exciting venture.

 

Stuart cox

Facilities Lead

Following his long-standing automotive career, Stuart shifted gears into the world of sports and entertainment, contributing his skills and experience to iconic British venues including Lord’s Cricket Ground, the Royal Albert Hall, Chelsea Football Club, and Cheltenham Racecourse. This chapter of his career reflects a passion for live events and the vibrant energy of performance and sport.

Pete Walker

Front of House Lead

Pete is a retired global public relations specialist with over 35 years’ experience developing and implementing a variety of PR projects and initiatives.

Pete has an extensive background in training and coaching and retains this focus within his consultancy business.

Pete’s interests include mountain biking, walking, and birds of prey conservation.

Edward Arnold

Head of Sound

Professional audio engineer working in Live Events, Broadcast, Theatre and Studio sectors of the music and media industries worldwide. Enjoys being a part-time musician as well as mixing concerts and festivals of all shapes and sizes.
