The Ambassador’s Garden, June 21 at 5pm

A rare chance to hear from the expert who once tended one of London’s most famous gardens.

Stephen Crisp was Head of Horticulture for the US Ambassador in the UK and looked after London’s second largest private garden. On Midsummer’s Day, he brings his wealth of expertise and anecdotes to Isbourne Arts. In conversation with Vanessa Berridge (garden writer and NGS trustee), he shares stories from his 37 years as Head of Horticulture for the US Ambassador.

With a garden covering 12 acres on the edge of Regent’s Park, Stephen worked with at least a dozen ambassadors and prepared the gardens for countless VIP events. He was also responsible for horticultural liaison between London and Washington for the extensive oversight, vision, and subsequent management of the landscaping around the new US Embassy at Nine Elms Vauxhall.

The evening will close with a short recital from new local musical talent, singer/songwriter and cellist, Lily Dumain.

Tickets: £10 (available via Book Now link, you’ll be taken to another site to purchase).
